Mind Over Measure

An interactive exhibit that explores the logic behind volumetric addition and subtraction.

Fill the tubes, transfer or dump the balls to end up with the correct number. Can you solve the challenge?

How It Works

  • The user must pick a difficulty level and then pick out a challenge.

  • The user will be prompted to pick out two of the numbered holders. The number on the holder reflects the number of balls it holds.

  • The holders can be filled with balls from the fill station, transfer balls from holder to holder at the transfer station, or emptied at the dump station.

  • The user will be required to end up with a specific number of balls in one of the holders, it is up to them to figure out the correct order of filling, transferring or dumping to complete the challenge.
